Nice review of my recent album ‘Driving East’ on Spectrum Culture
Makes me happy to see a writer doing a bit of research (and listening!) and not simply regurgitating the press release 😉

Thanks to Gary and all the BBC Introducing Norfolk team, for inviting me on the show last week. Definitely the first time a modular synth has been played live on BBC Norfolk ;).
After a some technical gremlins (my analog heat ironically decided to freeze), the performance went ahead as planned and I’m quite pleased with how it turned out! There should be a video coming soon too..

A new Sonic Arts festival in Great Yarmouth happened earlier this month.
I performed an improvised set in the wonderful St. Georges Theatre – based around field recordings of Yarmouth submitted by the public prior to the event.

I’ve started archiving my radio show, ‘Flatland Frequencies’ onto youtube. It’s a long process as I am creating HD computer graphics to accompany the music, so rendering and uploading each 2 hour show is taking a few hours. Hopefully this will be worth the time and the music can ultimately reach a wider audience.

Ceephax is gracing the fine city in a couple of weeks. My comrades at Cosmic Pint Glass have enlisted me to provide sound reinforcement – in the form of acid house records. See you there!
Some amazing new music featured on last night’s show.
Forthcoming releases, like Luke Abbott’s new project Szun Waves on Leaf Label and an interesting Ursula K. Le Guin inspired record on Rvng Intl.
Current releases from Jogging House, Chelidon Frame, Building castles out of matchsticks and Emily Sprague.
Unreleased tracks from ALi Wade and Southfacing (Frequency Domain).
PLUS some vintage electronics from Charles Dodge and Laurie Spiegel.
Catch me donning my Duke Slammer hat, this Friday in Utrecht!
